So we typically toss a video onto a post when highlighting a new band or a show preview or something and let you draw your own conclusion about it. Sometimes we throw a change-up... strike that - let's call it a round up. Most of these videos are of bands we have previously talked about here on Draw Us Lines, so we won't be telling you much about those bands themselves, just some musings that really aren't worth a damn. If a picture is worth 1000 words, then a video must be worth a million. Hold on to your hats! [...]

Words by Brendan Halloween is a strange holiday, when you think about it. For kids, it's that magical day when you can ask your neighbors for candy and they have to give you some! (Fuck that guy who gave you raisins.) For teens, it's that awkward day where you're too old to trick or treat but you're secretly jealous of kids and their candy so you make mischief and mayhem, instead. (Amiright?) For college students, it's an excuse to get drunk and dress ruhl slutty and get away with it, or an excuse to [...]

Song: "I See You" Artist: Christian Bland & The Revelators There's no better way to describe this song than as a psychedelic pop version of a ghost story. It opens with eerie strummed guitar and then some haunting "ooooohs" fly in with the echoing drumbeat that sounds so loud yet muffled that you have to think that your neighbor is pounding on some garbage cans in his kitchen but then you remember your apartment only borders the hallway. "Come on baby, over here, I see you..." Fucking creepy, isn't it? Then there's some droning church-like [...]

Recently, he uncovered an album's worth of recorded material, and will be releasing it as The Lost Album on September 1st. It's going to be super limited to 333 copies, and will include a poster designed by Christian himself. This is a wonderful glimpse into the mind of one of Austin's leading musicians. Download: [...]
