Though the band currently have only a split 7" with Le Jonathan Reilly and an appearance on The World is Lousy With Ideas 5 , they're looking at an onslaught of releases in the coming months. Christmas Island, an Australian territory in the Indian Ocean about 300 miles south of Jakarta, is said to be a treasure trove for scientists because no humans lived there until the late 19th century. The San Diego quartet called Christmas Island provide another interesting specimen for study, their tin-cans-with-strings lo-fi production making "Morning Sunshine" sound like a remnant of Southern Hemisphere indie rockers the Clean and their early-1980s New Zealand peers.
