Vampire Weekend  invito a media docena de amigos para su nuevo video 'Diane Young' , entre ellos vemos a Chromeo , Sky Ferrera , Santigold y Dave Longstreth.  Fue dirigido por Primo Kahn . El tema que se desprende de su reciente producción  Modern Vampires Of The City   muestra una escena con poses muy teatrales en donde los invitados en la mesa hastiados e inapetentes, comen o tiran todo a su alrededor, una especie de destrucción pasiva mientras la banda interpreta el tema. It turns out that the burning Saab video originally for "Diane Young," the energetic lead single from Vampire Weekend's recent Modern Vampires Of The City , wasn't the "official" video. Today, the band debuted the real thing as a modern Last Supper, featuring an array of indie heroes. Those included are; members of Dirty Projectors , The Walkmen , Chromeo , Santigold , and Sky Ferreira, having a better party than any of us are.

Peep the new video from everyone's favorite deliciously divisive Ivy-bred indie institution Vampire Weekend . Here, the boys present a subversive Last Supper send-up as the visual accompaniment to Modern Vampires of the City 's  rockabilly-meets-ironic-voic e-modulation single "Diane Young."   Some of the video's dinner guests include illustrious music-makers Santigold, Sky Ferreira and Chromeo (who clearly gets invited to these things because his  remix  of VW's "The Kids Don't Stand A Chance" stands the test of time and still shows up on Ezra Koenig's summer barbecue playlist). Vampire Weekend brought a bunch of their friends together and had one last supper. The ensuing debauchery sees the band, along with Chromeo, Santigold, Dirty Projectors' David Lonsgtreth, Sky Ferreira and The Walkmen's Hamilton Leithauser, partying lavishly. Vampire Weekend have released an official video for "Diane Young" that features an epic dinner featuring the elite class of indie rock. The dinner features Hamilton Leithauser from The Walkmen, Sanitgold, Chromeo, Dave Longstreth from Dirty Projectors, as well as Sky Ferreira. It's one of the most fun music videos of the year. Definitely one of my favorites of theirs in general, as well as of the whole year. Enjoy it below.
