Vandaag kun je in Groningen terecht voor de traditionele Rhythm & Blues Night , waar dit jaar acts als Los Lobos, Beth Hart, Jason and the Scorchers en Eilen Jewell zijn te zien. 5 mei is natuurlijk de dag voor de Bevrijdingsfestivals . It's no surprise that Chuck Mead's solo debut mixes old school honky-tonk with early Elvis Presely style roots music since BR549 has been a stalwart of that bygone era for over a decade now. The songs on Chuck's solo debut apparently wouldn't be a perfect fit for a new BR549 record so that's why we're graced with this his first solo recording.
