New video from Chuuwee "Bend the Block," off WildStyle: B Side . Produced by Glass City http://chuuweeoftus.bandcamp.c om Video by The Visualists - VSLSTS Directed by Eric Casas Video Producer - Milo http://vslsts.com @chuuweetus @vslsts

True to his west coast roots, Chuuwee delivers a video for "Bend The Block," a joint from his Wild Style: Side B release that bigs up car culture.
Off of his Wild Style: B Side tape.
Wildstyle: Side A showed a balance of nostalgic golden era rap, married to Chuuwee's new g-funk sound. It felt both new, and reminiscent of a familiar time. Wildstyl e: B-Side continues to pay homage to Chez Northern California late 902s influences, the young emcee continues to ripple through the sea of saturation. Don't be surprised if you buy a plane ticket to Sunny Cali after a full listen, it's known to make people yearn for a few palm trees, an endless beach with cocaine sand invaded by the rare beauties only found on the West Coast.

The freshest tape from Chuuwee , remember Changed ? It's on here. Cop it at bandcamp, name your price.

I have admittedly slept on far too many releases from Sacramento spitter Chuuwee over the years. But that officially ends today with his latest effort, WildStyle: B Side . The pay-what-you-want project is heavily inspired by the G-funk and Northern hip-hop sounds of the Golden Era. That means you'll hear plenty of sample-based boom-bap production along with tough, albeit sharp, rhymes. Standouts include "Your Soul In E Minor", "Gangstaz & Killaz", and "The Cypher". You can stream/download the tape below and grab Side A here . Purchase/Download: Chuuwee - WildStyle: [...]

Over and over we've reiterated the pure skill Sacramento emcee Chuuwee possess, and as we ready the summer months Chez's buzz is steadily growing. Today he releases the second half of his highly acclaimed Golden Era mixtape Wildstyle . "B Side" is 18 original tracks from various producers, paying homage to his coast and most notably the Nor-Cal 902s hip hop scene. Pure. Uncut. Raw.

WildStyle: B Side by Chuuwee In taste of the golden era hip hop days, The entirety of "WildStyle" was seperated into an A side and a B Side. Remniscent of the old hip hop cassettes from the 19902s. "B Side" is inspired heavily by the California Golden Era hip hop scene, primarily Northern California. Enjoi the ride as Chuuwee brings you new school G-Funk and more on this trip through the Late 902s West Coast.

![Maryann “More Then Lover Friends” ft. Chuuwee (Prod by N8 the Gr8) [audio + video]](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/4838337_lg.jpg)
Maryann, Northern California's freshest female vocalist, is hitting the scene hard in 2013. With a sound reminiscent of 902s R&B stars such as Aaliyah or Janet Jackson, she draws on these influences, yet has a voice and style all her own. Growing up around all genres of music, Maryann has channeled that exposure into a versatile style. She is creating music that combines Soul, R&B, Pop, Electronic, and Hip-Hop, to find a sound that will appeal to the masses. Not only has Maryann been writing and performing her own songs, but she's also been writing for other artists. She has [...]
Produced mostly (exclusively?) by Sacramento's N8 the Gr8, R&B singer Maryann has a high but unforced voice, imperfect and often leaning on Auto-Tune. Basically she sounds like Cassie. It's nothing new, but something about the ... read more

Saw the kid tweeting back n forth with Veehead affiliate kechPhrase yesterday, bet those boom bat beats won't be B-sides, ahha. How awesome is it when artists release sweet B-sides? It's like, damn, what's that side A sound like? Chuuwee is one of my favorite up n comers right now. His Wild Style tape is highly recommended, also and as well as his tribute to dilla, Ch3z?!! Chill!!! . That's all you get for now, stay tuned.

Here’s another single off Chuuwee’s upcoming Wildstyle: B Side , “Changed” produced by Swoots. B-Side drops March 21st.

Ruby Hornet regular Chuuwee just took to his Soundcloud to bless us with a hard hitting track with fight-night walk-out potential. He calls out all the two faced fools who had their back to him when he was hungry but have their hands out now that he's eating. The neo-boom bap beat -thanks to Swoots- the flow, and the message is the embodiment of sucker free.
