Cinemax . Sounds super technological and nerdified, right? Which is right up this Beast's alley. But the trio from Roanoke, VA are anything but dumb when it comes to creating a sound that is both unique and universally enjoyable. If the vocals sound familiar to you, that's because they come from a Beaston fave, in KiD A ! In actuality, Cinemax is the pride and joy of KiD A, Turbo P and INDIANFACE. Together they've strung together a collective sound of mall pop, new romantic lyrics, and teenage dreams. [...]

The people at Cinemax caught up with Stef at this year's Soundset Festival in Shakopee and got some good footage. In the first part of the video Stef talks about the name "P.O.S." and what it could be an acronym for, and how he got the name. He also talks about the roots of his influence and the nature of his beats. It's great to know that guys like Stef take a lot of influence from their fans, because those are the best kinds of artists. In part 2 of the video P.O.S. discusses what he feels like [...]

Following in the footsteps of Eminem , the Jack White/Allison Mosshart project the Dead Weather has decided to debut its Jonathan Glazer-directed video for "Treat Me Like Your Mother" on Cinemax on July 11. The video will serve as a lead-in to the network's premiere of the Angelina Jolie/Common superassassin flick Wanted , and the video's preview would seem to suggest that the movie and the Dead Weather clip share a common thread of people trying to kill other people. I kind of can't believe that the Dead [...]
Heres the official clip..supposed to premiere tonigh on Cinemax..

The video for Eminem's "3 A.M." will debut on Cinemax this Saturday, right before the movie channel airs some flick about Liv Tyler getting terrorized while on vacation. (Alas, it doesn't look like it's a member of the National Lampoon franchise.) The press release touting the video's debut says that this marks a "first for the network"; you, like me, may be thinking "wait, what about that Kid Rock video all those months ago ," but that was actually just a TV premiere of a video that had already been on YouTube for [...]
The week in Bangers : While electronic rumors isn't strictly an Electro-House blog, we do cover a lot of Electro-House that crosses over in to our realm. So many good club tunes and reMixes surface each week we can't (and wouldn't) cover them all, so this is a round up of some of the best from the week that we didn't have time to dedicate individual posts to… It's a week or so old now but the Acid Girls remix [...]

No this is not a post about Radiohead, Hipster Runoff summed that up pretty well. Okey, I don't wanna sound like a fuckhead here, but I know.. I know the newest hot star on the alternative electro sky. Should I say it? Can I? Oh I'm so excited I dunno what to do with myself. Okey okey, it's an artist called Kid A (just like the headline yo). And I'm not even joking about this. I'm so into this shit I might explode, her singing is so convincing, so soulful and very [...]
