There’s a lot of great stuff going on in Canadian band No Joy . I love electronic music and indie pop and the like, but it’s always a blast seeing a band that can really rock. The heavy, distorted guitars and bass somehow complement the female vocal harmonizing wonderfully, resulting in a really cool sound. Not that I was surprised they were still a going concern but because I really hadn't heard much about them lately.
