Log on 0.8.10.15 16.13 Increasing the effectiveness of our operation, and improving shareholder value requires resolving one of the two following bottlenecks. Either we modify the user interface to access the data inputs feeding into our decision-making process, or adjust our operatives' sensory systems: Steve Jobs versus post-humanism. Pic - Hobogestapo Clique Talk should, could and will be something of the future, reminescent of current power groups Cut Copy , DFA or The Presets , although with a much darker through line. Strong riffs, lazy vocals and alien sounds make these tracks more than just a single but a whole story. Not content with producing within a genre they also go by the name ' No Rave ' to translate alot of the beats up and into the dancefloor. [...]

Sometimes when I'm home at night I just need a dose of midtempo beats and beautiful vocals & melodies to soothe my nerves. Here's a few tracks that have been doing the trick for me lately... First off here's a track from School of Seven Bells from Brooklyn NY called Connjur . Love this track, so soothing.. Seems they are on tour opening up for another favorite M83 . Not too shabby... If you don't know M83 what the hell??!? Here's a [...]
All good things have to come to an end, although who can complain about hearing some really good bands? Order changes once again but read back the last couple posts to get an idea of what sound they are pushing and be sure to support the artists so even head over to their pages and let them know. 'The Interlude' by Marquee is one of my favorites from them, reminds me of a per fect arch as it moves forward and up taking you higher and higher. Marquee - The Interlude Once again Clique Talk blow me away that [...]

Here is the third installment of my "sweet artists that you've never heard of from various parts around the world" series. "... Well what I wanted to tell you is that my IPod got lost or stolen and someone has put the Adventure Kid version of I’m From Barcelona’s “Music Killed Me” onto the internets." - Adventure Kid If someone stole my iPod I think I would die. I'm glad this tune got leaked though, it's 8-bit fresh. "Music Killed Me" is [...]
Well day 2 is upon us! More tracks from yesterdays artists, so if you were inclined to have a listen and liked them here's the baking stage with the icing on top tomorrow. Changing up the order we have Marquee on top with song so aptly named 'When it Works' and in this case... it does. Marquee - When it Works Next up is Parades who still give off that pleasurable feel of listening to music. This time there are invaders on the way. [...]
The Chicago post-punk/electro/quasi-noise/ dub/overall bizarre trio, Clique Talk has been hammering away at new material since I last posted about them. There's an album in the works, three ridiculously cool psychedelic-themed videos floating around (after the jump, folks!), and several new tracks online. Good deal. The band seems to be in a transitional phase, though, with one of the members moving to Providence in the next few months (rumor has it he's aspirations to become a cross-dressing cabaret singer/burlesque dancer), and no one really solidly knowing what to do next. But, but, but [...]
