When we blogged CLUBFEET 's double A-side ‘ City of Light/This Time’ it had been roughly two years since when had last had an original release from the guys. But now with the band full force into work on their second album Heirs & Graces (the follow-up to debut LP Gold On Gold ) and a massive tour in progress as we speak - we took the chance to sit down for a chat with the South Africans of subtle indie disco. [...]

Photo by Grégoire Pleynet Clubfeet released a new EP last month titled City of Light / This Time . 'This Time' in particular is quite interesting, has a very slow and restrained tempo, borderline balearic vibes (not the nu-disco kind), and SAXOPHONE. The aforementioned means it's basically a perfect soundtrack to lazy & hot summer evenings, or evenings you'd like to imagine are lazy & hot. Jeremy Glenn has now remixed that particular track; stripped it down, sped it up and added his characteristic housey sound to it, [...]

Saint Petersburg Disco Spin Club & Eleonora - Divine (Vincenzo Remix) By Stef Siepel The Weekly Froth! A weekly take on six tracks, most of which have recently popped up somewhere in the blogosphere. Bit of a mixed bag with a slight leaning towards house, disco, and remixes, but generally just anything that for some reason tickled the writer’s fancy. Track of the week: ‘Divine’ by Saint Petersburg Disco Spin Club & Eleonora (Vincenzo remix) Vincenzo isn’t afraid to [...]

What's better than listening to synth-pop on your stereo? Seeing it performed live of course! Sure, you can't dance around in your underwear at a gig (or you can if you're feeling a bit exhibitionistic today), but you can party with your fellow CLUBFEET fans. This quintet (some from Melbourne, some from South Africa) are ready to shake your socks off. They want to see booty shakin' of all descriptions. They want to see the love burn in their fans' eyes. They want you there. Pitchfork and Spin [...]
When it comes to the Toronto disco scene, Jeremy Glenn is considered to be part of the foundation. His newest Clubfeet remix is filled with low bass synths that can't help but remind me of something from the Drive soundtrack. Good to see this one getting a ton of blog love from all over the world. Clubfeet - "This Time" (Jeremy Glenn Remix)

Clubfeet ‘s new double A-side single City of Light / This Time is out now we give you the superamazing Jeremy Glenn remix is above and the original tracks bellow perfect perfect perfect
Here's a combinations of two of my favorite Nu School producers at the moment; Clubfeet and Jeremy Glenn . The remix comes off Clubfeet's latest set of releases ' City Of Lights ' and ' This Time '. The remix is a better segue into the original track I believe, rather than the other way around -especially if your a fan of tropical/disco and have yet to hear Clubfeet. Glenn's remix has a deep tropical vibe coupled with a toned down 802s synth. Its a little on the darker [...]

A few weeks ago, Melbourne's five-piece Clubfeet released their new double A-side City Of Light” "/"This Time", and now the b-side gets the remix treatment by our favorite Canadian producer Jeremy Glenn . The result is an eight-minute disco-house burner. It doesn't get any better than this. In others news, Jeremy Glenn is ready to drop his brand new jam, "Partytime", on June 18th via Smile Recordings, with remixes by Marcos Cabral, Rambla Boys and Safari. Can't wait!
Now that Sasquatch! Music Festival is over, it's back to a regular posting schedule. We return with a new tune from Clubfeet remixed by Jeremy Glenn. The bass line on this track is ridiculous... Read the rest on Speakerboxxx.com

Following the recent (successful) release of Clubfeets split EP "City Of Light / This Time" comes a brilliant Jeremy Glenn remix! Toning down the skewed indie, JG ramps this up into a synth laden journey offering a progressive, pulsing effort that tops even my personal favourite Cadillac remix. After a few listens all I can imagine is a classic 802s karate kid-esque scene, wax on... wax off. This Time (Jeremy Glenn Remix) by helloclubfeet

Terrific remix by Canadian disco house maestro Jeremy Glenn pulling the retro vibe through to the future disco dimension. The Australian-bred Clubfeet have recently released a double A single featuring tracks "City Of Light" and "This Time". "This time" definitely takes has the upper-hand for me. A solemn melody atop a dark and sensual 80s tinted rock production. That guitar solo is like a lightning bolt in super-slow-motion, and then a hint of sax(?) creeps in towards the end - almost marking the song's last breath, like a melodic death rattle. • JEREMY GLENN [FB] [...]

In 2010, musicians from Capetown, South Africa and Melbourne, Australia came together to pay homage to the sounds of '80s synth-pop that they held dear, simultaneously creating something that felt fresh and new as Clubfeet, on their debut album, Gold on Gold. Now the men from down under are preparing for another go at world [...]

Wow, what an impressive collection. True, you may have heard a handful of these songs already but to be honest, I personally didn't realize this stuff was all under Plant Music. This is the... Read the rest on Speakerboxxx.com

The Snowball Music Festival starts today and I'm very jealous of you guys that will be venturing out west to capture some great artists in one of the most beautiful settings in the world. It's one of those four day weekends because you have to leave Friday morning and there's no way in hell that anybody could flip around and go back to work/school after three days of nonstop snowboarding/skiing, partying, hanging out and concert watching. Take your coats and don't forget your snow boots and drive safe. Watch the first curve after Eisenhower, it's a [...]
