Coasts' "Oceans", and the subsequent follow-up remix from Twice As Nice captured my ears and soul for weeks on end. Easily one of the more addictive choruses of the year, and that just might be an understatement. What I didn't know was that the UK natives appear to have a ... Read More

With the impossibly catchy "Oceans" and "Wallow" Coasts earned a spot on our list of best new artists in March, and now the Bristol band strikes again with "Your Soul." Despite being a new group, these guys have a polished and full-bodied sound meant for big audiences and open air. "Your Soul" kicks off with [...]

Coast - a Celtic Rock band from Southampton in England has undergone various line-up transitions which has developed into the five piece of Paul Eastham (Vocals / Keyboards / Acoustic Guitar), Andy Davey (Lead Guitar / Acoustic Guitar / Vocals), Chris Barnes (Percussion / Vocals), Andrej Chernjavskij (Drums) and Hamish Ferguson (Bass). Coast Listening to half a track and the evidence of the Scottish roots of some of the band members becomes evident as guitars mutate [...]

Coasts continue to bring the goods with their new song "Wallow," off their Paradise EP , which they will stream in full at the end of June. I'm curious how their music translates live. If they can pull off the energy of their recorded material, watch out. The crescendos burst at the seams. "Wallow" is officially out May 20 via Tidal Recordings Coasts on Knox Road | SoundCloud

Bristolian band Coasts return with another excellent follow up to their previous singles ' Oceans ' and ' Stone '. The internet does funny things with geography. I first heard COASTS on Sunset's Lay Me Down tape (which you should definitely download). Oceans is three and a half minutes of sun-soaked brilliance. I figured Sunset had picked up on some hot, up-and-coming act from the East Coast, boasting of their sunnier climes through the medium of music. Then it turned out COASTS were from Bristol. In the UK. Not far from us. And that I definitely should've heard of them already. Paradise is the band's debut EP. It's out on 29th [...]

So UK indie/alt band Coasts released another great single called "Wallow" the other day and already followed that up with a new video for it. The bands' superstar potential is clearly there and the few tracks they have shared so far have been nothing short of brilliant. On this visual, they keep things pretty simple as the camera pans around as the band performs the song with some nice lighting effects. Remember on May 20th to grab their Paradise EP. Fresh? [...]

As first single “Oceans” is permanently planted in my head, Bristol’s Coasts return with their edgy new single “Wallow”. Going way against their known sound, this is dark, sonically heavy song that shows this band is more than just teen youth saviors. This reminds me of a rapid, unexpected change of sound such as when Foals came out with “Inhaler”. Pre-order their Paradise EP now.

From the moment UK band Coasts hit our email a few months back with the incredible first single " Oceans ," it was apparent that these guys had the right formula to blow the fuck up big time. Not only are their songs just catchy, but the overall sound is tight and perfect for a huge concert setting. Only time will tell if this will happen, but the relatively new band is moving in the right direction. The latest single to come from the Bristol natives is "Wallow," which continues that epic sound that "Oceans" delivered. This [...]

The Bristol via London band have released their new single upon the world. Only 4 hours after the upload it's already generating quite the buzz around the It's All Indie office. With Coasts ' first single, " Oceans ," they came across as the kind of band that could go straight from unknowns to big time. Like Kings of Leon, Foster The People, and fun., they've got the anthemic, full-bodied sound that you could imagine filling stadiums. For now, they're just getting started, but if the Bristol band keeps this kind of polished sound coming, it won't be long before they explode. Here's their latest single, "Wallow." Their Paradise EP is on the way. Pre-order it here .

Coasts ' gloves come off on their latest offering, "Wallow." The Bristol five-piece toss pop considerations aside here, instead opting for a hard-hitting five minutes of sonic, guitar-heavy rock. " Oceans ," " Stone ," and now this - it seems Coasts can do no wrong. Stream "Wallow" below. STREAM: Coasts - "Wallow"
Typing this as I wolf down the microwaved leftover spag bol I made last night. Who'd have thought that the band I wrote about 3 years ago would play a gig in Leeds tonight??? I must say it is quite unfortunate that Margaret Thatcher happened to pass away on the night Brilliant Colors were playing. [Brilliant Colors - English Cities] The place was packed like NYE was here early, the gig was made free entry, 2 bands that I have been meaning to catch live pulled out at the very last minute (ie. Menace Beach (featuring members from other awesome Leeds bands [...]

A new remix of "Oceans" by Bristol natives Coasts came out the other day, with Twice As Nice adding a ridiculous amount of catchy synth to make this song even more amazing in a new way. Coasts has had plenty of potential with this single when we posted it a few weeks back, and now they are getting love from Zane Lowe' s BBC1 radio show. But if you had heard the original or clicked the link, you'll know this is an amazing Summer anthem and the remix is too. Stream [...]
Back in January we brought you the original version of "Oceans" by the UK's rising indie rock outfit Coasts . Today, we want to share a thrilling new remix by Australian duo Twice As Nice . Here, they show off some of the stuff that made their Little Daylight "Overdose" remix so contagious, bringing the big, building, gushing synths that give the track added energy and vigor, and ultimately help make its chorus literally feel like a gigantic, sweeping wave. Shouting the lines "We fell in love, right by the ocean! Made all our [...]
