Hello friends and others. I am off on a mini-vacation tomorrow (see above picture). When we get back from Mexico the plan is to finish packing up our house and move to Vancouver...finally. There is a cool new company called Sound Supply , that is giving us a new way to purchase music. 10 albums for $15. This bundled deal is a fun way to get cheap music and to give some new sounds a chance. Their first bundle includes several artists that have been previously featured here on IHYEB, including Coconut Records (Jason Schwartzman), Colour Revolt, Sophie Madelein, and Andrew Dost (Anathallo, Fun.). Jonathan Visger is a man with pop intelligence. As a singer in Mason Proper , he also writes beautifully constructed lyrics for his own band, Absofacto . Comparing people is never fair but after some research on Jonathan, I kept linking him to indie mastermind Jason Schwartzman and his band, Coconut Records .
