Bianca et Sierra , les sœurs Casady, nous avaient laissé avec le très bon (pas pour tout le monde) « Grey Oceans » en 2010. Entre temps deux titres ont pointé le bout du nez, mais à part preuve du contraire, elles n'apparaitront pas dans le prochain album. Un nouvel album qui se nommera « Tall Of A Grass Window » et qui sortira le 27 [...]
Their once definitive freak folk label is almost a thing of the past on CocoRosie's latest track, the prog-poppy "Gravediggress." The sisters have been maneuvering in and out of a more electronic sound for a while now, and "Gravediggress" manages to subtly reference their weird American roots without totally abandoning its popier texture. "Gravediggress" combines eastern-tinged, theatrical sounding melodies with the sisters' regular "sing like a baby" cooing vocals. A nice return to form for CocoRosie, "Gravediggress" should also serve as a rather accessible introduction to anyone unfamiliar with the group.
