Riton's remix of Congorock's head jarring 'Babylon' has found itself on the latest Fools Gold Compilation.. so you just know it's good. Let me sell it some more though. It's like that first bite of an apple after you've peeled the skin. It's juicy and refreshing and if your not in the mood to be slammed by the original, you can have a bite of this Congorock - Babylon (Riton Remix)

The other day Los Angeles found out who would be headlining HARD NYE 2010. I bet I'm not the only one who thinks Gary Richards fucking nailed it with this years' line up. Mr. Oizo AND Brodinski? Not to mention a capacity of 1300 people, making it an intimate affair. After missing Mr. Oizo on Halloween and witnessing Brodinski's amazing DJ talents, this event sounds like heaven to me. Don't be a fool and buy your ticket early to avoid the unnecessary extra cost. Buy Your Tickets Here [...]

Man this song is amazing words cannot describe this song. Check it out, blog it, play it really loud, get buck wild. Enjoy!

Here are three different remixes of "Somebody To Love Me"--a cut off the album "Record Collection" from Mark Ronson and the Business International. This is the track that features Boy George. Holy Ghost! delivers that deep-space discothque vibe that they do best, and England's Red Amber Green brings that electro touch. And I don't even know how to describe this remix from Congorock --but it's magnificent. Mark Ronson & The INTL Business - Somebody To [...]

I posted the Congorock remix of Mark Ronson's hit, 'Somebody to Love Me" a while ago . But there are three other remixes worth frothing out over as well. Including one from Sydney boy, Redial ! Have a geeeze. Mark Ronson ft Miike Snow & Boy George - Somebody To Love (Redials Sunday Drive Remix) by TuffemupRedial Mark Ronson & The Business Intl - Somebody To Love Me (Herve 'Very Vox' [...]

Sometimes having too many collaborators on one track can backfire and result in (for lack of better terminology) a big fat turd. Conversely, these types of collaborations can also result in absolute gold. Such is the case on what is surely one of the best pop songs of 2010: "Somebody to Love Me" by Mark Ronson & The Business Intl . Written by Jake Shears (Scissor Sisters) , Cathy Dennis & Anthony Rossomando (Dirty Pretty Things/Klaxons) and featuring vocals by dream duo Boy George [...]

Mark Ronson & The Business Intl. feat. Boy George & Andrew Wyatt - Somebody To Love Me (Congorock Remix) ( mp3 )
Hello Vacay Nation! StizZy here with a delectable new serving of vitamins. We all are familiar with the King of Rave, Fukkk Offf, perhaps one of the biggest bangers out there. This member of electronic royalty has recently released a new EP called Worldwide. Let's have a play by play. Let's start with Worldwide. This track starts out with a feel good, disco-esque vibe that get the blood pumping and the body moving. I'm not usually a bug fan of chick rappers but the female vocals on this track just seem to work for me, let me know [...]

What's good everybody, happy Friday. It's hard to believe that we're already into the first weekend in Novemeber, this semester is flying by. I got some news this week that made me a very happy man, as I learned that Skrillex, Zeds Dead and The Killabits will play at Club Soda on the 24th of this month. Be sure to mark your calendars off for that, this is a show that's sure to leave you both extremely satisfied, and partially deaf. The mixtape this week is a collaboration between DJ Benzi and everyone's favorite Blackberry [...]
Two weeks ago, the influential and unique performers The Bloody Beetroots and Death Crew 77 kicked off their North American tour here in Miami at Mansion Nightclub on Washington Avenue. Close to the three-hour marker, the set played by Beetroots members Bob Rifo and Tommy Tea was downright phenomenal. They controlled the tone of the crowd during their entire set by dropping familiar songs off their EPs, showing their remarkable transitioning skills, and surprising us with several AWESOME new unreleased remixes. It has been awhile since my last entry, but I was ridiculously excited to see the black-masked [...]

A new genre is emerging in the EDM world and it's called Moombahton. Here's a little background information on the new genre. The self-proclaimed creator of Moombahton is none other than Dave Nada of Nadastrom . When I asked him how he came up with Moombahton in the first place, he answered very candidly, "blame public schoolz". According to me, that's a good answer. This past weekend at HARD Haunted Mansion I was exposed to the magical powers and rhythms of Moombahton. Diplo dropped at the very least 20 minutes of sexy, slowed [...]

By now I think I have given all of you enough time to marinate on my wonderful live mix, It's time to start busting out the heavy jams again, so today is a two-for-one type deal. 1) Somebody to Love Me (Congorock Remix)-Mark Ronson feat. Boy George and Miike Snow (CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD) (B1o Highly Recommends) You may remember last "Baby Making Music" I posted the Original Mix to this track. I'm still bumping it. Now we're given this beauty. [...]

Suicide Sundaes – stop your grinnin' and drop your linen. Every Sunday electblake of Earmilk will bring you the weeks dirty servings, and some old favorites through a throwdown-throwback to simpler times. A time when bangers were big, remixes were bigger, the bassline bled, and we didn't care about anything as long as came in kicking and left screaming. To hell with sketchy Sunday, we want to shove another dragon down the hole. Happy Halloween everyone - I dunno about you but the last thing I remember.. I was on the decks, blasting some MGMT remix to [...]
(Photo by Jaimei Barra ) Seeing The Bloody Beetroots Death Crew 77 set on Thursday night in El Paso was definitely the highlight of this week. I can't tell you how good it felt to hear all the old remixes that really made me love them played live. They even played some new material at the end which was right in line with where they started and absolutely out of this world. They're most definitely back. Mark Ronson feat. Boy George - Somebody To Love Me (Congorock Remix) (192 kbps) [...]

Well folks, its that time of year again. Yup. You guessed it. HARD Haunted Mansion. This annual event is has become synonymous within the community as one of the best Halloween festivals of the year. The lineups are always ridiculously stacked, and that's no different this year. The production is flawless. And the atmosphere is perfect. And because of these endearing attributes, Saturday is already sold out and Sunday is looking like it will too. What more is there to say folks. Here are the set times. Hope to see you all there, I'll be the three whole [...]

I Love Babylon - I listen to it constantly and work it into every mix I do - its just so epic and Congorock deserves more attention because of it. Seems like the other Italian producers (Bloody Beetroots & Crookers) both got so much more attention from the main-stage college kids (which debatably made us like them less) and The Bloody Beetroots are the only ones to really survive and prosper - no offense - but Crookers have been pretty quiet, probably getting paid out the ass to tour clubs. This Mark Ronson [...]
