Brazilian group CSS have just released their new track Hits Me Like a Rock and it is addictive as all hell. It's the first single off their new album La Liberación (due out August 22 via V2/Cooperative/Downtown) and features guest vocals from Primal Scream's Bobby Gillespie. The song is "a song about another song... and about the power of music to date our lives". CSS's last album, 20082s Donkey , received fairly middling reviews. The band, who ostensibly are just making music for the fun of it, have retreated for quite a while since then, seemingly to put a lot of effort into their third album La Liberación , which will be released on August 29th.
