I don't normally post so many songs at once but I'm in a buoyant mood and I've been listening to these songs a lot which may have helped. This music combined with being off work today and a busy weekend ahead taking in Saturday at Oxegen has probably attributed to my sunny disposition. Plus Animal Collective and the Go! Digging through my room back home over the weekend I found various singles, EPs and free CDs which I haven't listened to in a long time. A few for your listening pleasure.. MCA & Burzootie - Drum Machine.mp3 Prior to the Beastie Boys success with 'Licenced to Ill', in 1985 MCA made this simple song with Burzootie. As you may or may not know, Bloc Party are currently recording their second album in Grouse Lodge in Westmeath. Rumours abound on the interweb this week suggest there will be a Bloc Party DJ set in the Hub this Friday (26th May) after the Radiator club night. It could be just be one member or the whole band but I'd say there's a very small chance it could be an actual band performance. I've never set foot in the Hub yet personally, but I've been told it's not the best venue. What I do know is [...]
