It’s Saturday, so that means it’s once again time for Shorthanded Goals. Shorthanded Goals is an informal mixtape of the best sounds from the past week (or weeks) that I didn’t get a chance to cover. These tracks arrive via the Sirens of Decay inbox from bands/labels/PR folks and readers, as well as from my own exploration on Soundcloud or Bandcamp. They are all great tracks looking for a new home. These are the tracks I end up missing, so you get first dibs. Think of yourself as [...]

Florida based producers Coyote Kisses - made up of two eccentric looking fellas by the name of Joe and Bryce- have recently dropped a killer EP titled Thundercolor, that has been more than turning heads in the world of dance music recently. Thundercolor was released on Beatport a week ago and has since reached number 5 in the top 100 chart, as well as number 1 on the Electronica chart. I bet you're eager to listen to it now right? Below is Coyote Kisses' full Thundercolor EP, released along with the individual songs to Soundcloud a [...]
First of we got a remix of Knife Party 's track "Power Glove" and Drankenstein aka Bird Peterson absolutely killed it. Glad to see Carnage is back to running the trap, this time he teams up with Heroes X Villains for an anthem worthy remix of "Mammoth" by Dimitri Vegas , Like Mike , and Moguai . Next is a preview we featured a few days ago of Major Lazer 's take on Dada Life' s track "Boing Clash Boom". Gent & Jawns have been [...]
Coyote Kisses have solidified that they are a force to be reckoned with. The electronic duo of Joe Sussingham and Bryce Bresnan, both 22, released their latest project, Thundercolor EP, a week ago, and it has already climbed the charts with their original dance beats. The college students from Washington and Lee and New College of Florida, respectively, [...]

With the release of their new sophomore EP Thundercolor, Coyote Kisses have proven to be one of the more creative production duos around. Having won both the Mad Decent remix contest for "Titan" as well as the popular vote in the Beatport remix competition for Seven Lions' " Days to Come, " their appeal is quite evident. The new EP consists of four originals of varying genre and tempo, all pervaded by live instrumentation and a friendly, noninvasive overtone. Rather than try to mold their sound to well-established stereotypes, Coyote Kisses have crafted their own brand of intriguing, instrumental [...]
It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I must inform you of the impending demise of Wobble Wednesday . In the midst of a change in the music scene, we have decided that Wobble Wednesday no longer fits the direction we would like to go. That is not to say, however, that the filth and darkness of both American dubstep and UK dubstep will stop. Rather, WW will merge with the Weekly Flavours column for a more genre-focused list each week. For the uninitiated, Weekly Flavours is a post dedicated to a certain [...]

Now here is a duo we truly wish we'd see more of. If anyone remembers their incredible breakout single "Acid Wolfpack" releases ages ago, then you wish the same thing. Coyote Kisses melodic enchantment is inspiring to say the least. Coyote Kisses Released Their "Acid Wolfpack" EP Last February Since then however, we're ashamed to admit we've lost touch with the Florida based producers. After a little digging we found they went through a remixing phase taking on trending tracks like Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me [...]
Incoming EP alert. If you have yet to hear of our friends Coyote Kisses, now is the chance for you to redeem yourself. This EP has been in the works for a long time, and now it has been released in all it's glory. Stand out tracks for me include Diving at Night, which is [...]

The innovative Floridian duo Coyote Kisses just released their heavily anticipated Thundercolor EP. The EP consists of four tracks and definitely maintains the unique and energetic anti brostep vibe that has put Coyote Kisses on the map. Thundercolor is available on Beatport and the stream is below via Soundcloud. The post Stream: Coyote Kisses - Thundercolor EP appeared first on Vibe To This .

Coyote Kisses were right there when I got into the EDM, bass-driven scene just a few years back. They've always been there when my electro dance appeal was waning, bringing that HARD punch I needed. However, comparing their latest EP, Thundercolor, I can tell the chomp has been lost in this Coyote Kisses' four-parter. I didn't appreciate Thundercolor the first time through simply because I didn't expect it. Now that I've listened to it a few times though, it's clear that CK still has that electro guitar melody signed in, but [...]

The EDM scene seems to have missed our radar this year, but we did manage to bundle up a bunch of electro remixes anyway. And there are a few gems in there that you'll definitely need to listen to - contrary to my lack of effort in electronic, it will be a big part in the future of music. Make sure to standby for more of our top music of 2012 it only gets much better from here on out.

The man who always has a master plan, strolls on with a bunch of bangin’ Velvetine & Delerium remixes - plus a ruthless “Days To Come EP” that seems to become larger and larger every time the play button is pressed. Now that voting phase of the Seven Lions’ ‘Days To Come’ remix contest has begun, 11 December 2012 - 31 December 2012 will be time when the official / final judging will commence. With the winner being announced on New Years Day, OWSLA’s totality of grand prizes will indeed change [...]

Coyote Kisses are featured in the Artist Spotlight this week as they are new to The Record Stache, but also because they're freaking awesome. I have personally been a fan of Coyote Kisses sense they dropped Acid Wolfpack last year. There is such a unique style that Coyote Kisses bring to the table with each track that you just can't stay away from. Most Recently though, Coyote Kisses have switched things up a bit going from their hard hitting electro and making their way into the ultra hot "trap" scene while winning the Clockwork - Titan Remix Competition. Coyote Kisses [...]

Taking a break from a Kat Krazy fueled sprint to "do all the things", was prompted by a chat between myself and Mr. Summer himself, Viceroy. Where he sent me the link to the below remix. I am not a big fan of dub, and trap I can take it or leave it. Growing up in DC/MD area, hip-hop and grimy beats like trap are all around you, so by proxy you pick up the good and forget the bad. Though both happen less and less today, thank you noise canceling headphones! All that aside, this is [...]
