I guess this is because David Lowery, who gets double duty each night, sings louder and more vociferously for Cracker's style of music than he does for CVB, and if the bands were reversed he'd have no voice at all for the Camper set. Indie rock pioneers Camper Van Beethoven are ramping up for a thirtieth anniversary celebration in 2013. We have a vendetta to quell cell-phone cameras and non-stop talkers at shows, but another underlying message we sometimes don't vocalize loudly enough is to support the artists.
