In the lead-off single to their second album, Sheffield's Crookes demonstrate their ability to bounce around a monochrome soundstage like the cheeky chappies they are, whilst bashing out a good old fashioned indie-by-numbers tune. Crashing drum intro, big guitar riff, singalong "oh-oh-oh" chorus? Check, check, and indeed check. It's all about the business of growing old, something the young whippersnappers clearly know absolutely nothing about - they're keener on eating guitars and tormenting their drummer by stealing his kit.
