The 3rd annual edition of New York City’s marquee live music event is expanding to 3 days of Music, Art, + Entertainment. Over the weekend, fans were delighted as Crystal Castles unleashed their official video for “Sad Eyes”. I had a great time at the Governors Ball last year. With the 2013 lineup announcement, it seems like the festival is growing a lot bigger. Not only is there another day added (June 7,8,9) but the quality and size of the artists particiapting this year seem to be on an all-around grander scale. My personal favorite off of Crystal Castles (III) album is Sad Eyes. Awesome to see that Crystal Castles still have a great touch when it comes to making horror movie like videos. No seriously, this video kinda creeps me out. I wish they would have gave the track a chance to finish like on the album, but for some reason the cutting the song short with this video. Turn on the lights, check under the bed and watch Sad Eyes below.

Crystal Castles take us back to the early '90s with a VHS-style video for "Sad Eyes", which looks like it would fit perfectly on the MTV video rotation of yore. Using footage from recent performances by the duo, the Rob Hawkins and Marc Pannozzo-directed clip isn't the creepiest thing Crystal Castles have ever put out, but the ghostly, echoing voice of Alice Glass pairs well with the visuals on offer. After all the speculation last month about a Postal Service reunion, it looks like the whole thing has been confirmed by an update earlier today to the band's website which revealed simply the image above with the band name and year. Ben Gibbard has been very clear that there is no likelihood of a new record coming out -- but it has been reported that Sub Pop is going to reissue Give Up on its 10th anniversary and Jimmy Tamborello and Gibbard will perform this year at Coachella [...]
