Hat man sein Herz ersteinmal an eine Band verloren, wnscht man sich von dieser Band, dass sie sich mglichst niemalsnie verndert. AC/DC, Motrhead oder die Ramones sind auf dieser Schiene jahrzehntelang unfallfrei gefahren. "Ihr seid nicht die Ramones, denkt euch was neues aus", textet die Trierer Punkrock-Kapelle Love A auf ihrem tollen Debtalbum, ein Appel zu mehr Mut und Kreativitt! Eine gravierende musikalische Vernderung geht allerdings selten kritiklos an einer Band vorber (bestes Beispiel in diesem Jahr: Dredg). Star of Love is the debut studio album by English/Spanish electronic artists Crystal Fighters, originally released on 4 October 2010 through Zirkulo records. A "Deluxe Edition" of the album was released worldwide on 8 August 2011, featuring the additional acoustic tracks included in the Australian limited edition. Thos are now also available as an EP for those that bought the original album. Influenced by a multitude of different musical genres, their sound is a fusion of fast progressive dance music, traditional Basque folk, synthesisers and heavy beats fuelled by early 80s Spanish punk. Who doesn't love a little remix package, especially ones from Crystal Fighters that just so happen to be completely free. Amounting to four, unique edits, Crystal Fighters have decided to ask Regal Safari , Psychemagik , Outboxx , and STEEP to remix their latest single "Champion Sound."
