This is one of those mega music posts - we've got 7 free tracks to share with you in this one! All of these tracks have a hip-hop base, but have been remixed, re-imagined and mashed up for your listening pleasure. Not all of these are brand new tunes - some have been floating around the web for a while, but I was just saving these up for just such a post as this. Enjoy the beats! First up, we've got the Conquistadors remix of 'Stuntin Like [...]

We heard following story: One man army Techjio stepped on the stage like a chicken in an outfit even my extraverted granny would not dare to wear. He started to lift 160 pounds for some minutes, until he presented his new LCD-namebelt with mirror inverted unicorns and his maiden name blinking in lightspeed. After the half of the audience transcribed the half of their assets to Techjio's checking account he smiled satisfied and strolled behind the decks unwrapping some anthropomorphic string puppets, resembling the Dirty Dozen, or like my streetluvin momma luvs 2 call them: D12. He started [...]

You remember D-12, and Eminem? And all of that? And you remember that video where Proof got shot, and they go to his funeral and stuff? That crap happened before he REALLY got shot. Wtf was that all about, srsly? Can they look into the future like 2Pac can? Bet all rapartists can do that. Techjio remixed D-12, sound a bit dubstep, or whatever it's called.. Jungle maybe. I dunno to be completely honest.. With that swaying drums/bass thingy. D12 - Purple Pills (Techjio Remix)
Montreal meets Philly with this, a new remix from Techjio that actually makes the D12 track "Purple Pills" (which hit the Top 20 in the US thanks in large part to the Detroit-bred, Junkyard Gang-like group having Eminem give a boost) listenable, dare we say enjoyable, to our ears. Quite a task, we assure you, as we've never really been able to stomach the original even a bit. The beat is engulfed in a sort of staggered movement and the fact that most of the actual lyrical content from the original track has been [...]

Australian's are probably already sick of Ten's summer promotion song "Hot Summer" by So You Think You Can Dance winner, Rhys. That means its time for the remixes to roll in. A little while back I already posted Trumpdisco's filthy remix of the track. This time around Australian producers, Hundreds and Thousands, have opted to remove some of the grime in order to achieve a more chilled and psychedelic vibe. This remix along with The Aston Shuffle's have already begun receiving some action in clubs around Australia. Rhys - Hot Summer (Hundreds and Thousands Remix) [...]

Here a number of tracks i've simply been dying to post, so what better time than now; its late at night, I can't sleep, and there is absolutely nothing else to do... lucky you guys! Zoo Brazil is an artist I only discovered today and already his track "Technik" has grown on me severely, to the point where i'm thinking it may be in my top 10 tracks of this year at least . I don't know what it is about this track that makes me like it so much and I don't [...]

Not much new [worth posting], so here's a few that have been sitting on my desktop including a radio rip of the new Fall Out Boy/Lil' Wayne collabo. You'll also find a new Carlito and D12 joint, a Justice style dance track from The Bloody Beetroots, and an awesome version of "Flume" by Bon Iver done in the MOKB studio. Also a graph. Check out this site if you need rap songs represented as graphs for any of your upcoming reports. Fall Out Boy ft. Lil Wayne - Tiffany Blews [...]

Every single member of the D12 crew is as psychotic as they are talented. Except for Bizarre. His screws aren't loose, they jingled right out his brain into his belly. He then washed it down with asbestos and shots of Henny and Mercury. I for one, never really cared much for D12 in it's entirety. I skimmed through the first album for Proof and Em's verses and then let the rest sit. There was entirely too much discord to digest. However, my second favorite Em verse from that album (the first being " Revelation [...]

Proof, rapper and protege of Eminem, has been shot dead in a club on Eight Mile Road , Detroit. Born DeShaun Holton on October 2nd 1975, Proof had achieved a level of success before he had the Eminem bounce: he'd done well in the 1998 Blaze Battle and won the following year's The Source Unsigned Hype award. But it was the 2001 boost to his D12 project that cemented his position in, if not quite the centre of all things rap, then at least well within the gravity. D12 - kind-of short for the Dirty [...]
