Suicide Sundaes - Stop your grinnin' and drop your linen, Sunday is back. Greg is here to bring you the week's dirty servings, and some old favorites through a throwdown-throwback to simpler times. A time when bangers were big, remixes were bigger, the bassline bled, and we didn't care about anything as long as came in kicking and left screaming. This week I have a ton of amazing tracks coming at you guys, too many in fact to mention all of them, so you should probably just listen to all of them. But, I do want [...]

Talking about epic songs and for sure everyone loves Daft Punk's "One More Time." I've decided to blog this sweet edit from the Uruguayan producer DJamSinclar . Las week we've posted his edit for Michael Jackson's " Rock With You " and here we are again with another epic rework. From my point of view this is good dj material. Hope you like it! Double the pleasure and triple the fun, Dan "The Man" Alcala is currently riding high in Aerialnoise's book with his own first-rate versions of (yet another) M83 re-rub of 'Midnight City' and Foster The People's 'Pumped Up Kicks' closely followed behind it. Tackling Daft Punk to the ground in an ankle-lock manoeuvre is by no, no small minded feat; however Dan (aka Alcala aka Rich Uncle Skeleton aka Vanilla Vice) has managed to vividly pull it off - thus creating a new fan in the process. Skilfully made from Boston's to New York's [...]

Kitteh is off formenting ebil. So, Caturday can afford to be frivolous. Here's an orchestral interpretation of Daft Punk's Harder Better Faster Stronger by Walt Ribiero. This is far better than classical reinterpretations tend to be and shows the durability and structure of the track. Listen or buy. http://fororchestra.com/

Good things come in tens, not threes. At least that's the way I look at it. Yet, that statement makes this playlist title make even less since it's Vol. 1. and there are no others. Yes, we plan on making more. We wouldn't tease you with a Volume 1 and hold all of the rest back. That would be like Jay-Z coming out with In My Lifetime, then going dark on us. Not cool. We get it. We won't let you down. We'll start our Vol. 1 off strong. Our list holds up to its name too because [...]

The Plump DJs were massively kind enough to send us one of their promos last year which was sadly overlooked at its time of arrival. But like with so many great tunes that remain bulletproof and immortal throughout the sands of time, the Plump DJs' own bootleg of a combined Daft Punk, Dyson & Breakdown backing etches its way towards a land of stupendous-blissfulness. Hand s at the ready Aerial-fiends as this is about to take off! Heavenly vocal-use attached too. Plump DJs vs. Daft Punk vs. Dyson vs. Breakdown – LA

Tristan Garner created "Punx" as a tribute to Daft Punk... and what a fitting tribute it is. He perfectly fuses a melodic, progressive house beat with the robotic Daft sound we all know and love. The track's breakdown has a space-age, rock 'n' roll feel reminiscent of classic Daft Punk tracks like "Aerodynamic" and "Robot Rock." "Punx" is a perfectly produced progressive house track with major festival potential; we can already hear the "Technologic" bootleg in our heads. Purchase: Beatport

The Oscars are this Sunday, and 2011 was a forgettable year in cinema. I can't honestly say that I've seen a great movie in a long time, though, I've only seen four out of the nine movies up for "Best Picture." The stage appears to be set for "the Artist" to win big in which makes Harvey Weinstein look like a genius. The one movie I regret not catching while in theatres in 3D is the Martin Scorsese film not starring Joe Pesci, "Hugo," based on the children's book. "The Help's" supporting cast should win "Best Supporting [...]
Da Chip have made quite a name for themselves by reworking Daft Punk tracks into retro 8-bit format - normally they're pretty rubbish - but their latest attempt on Daft Punk's 'Digital Love' is really quite good.
Not long ago, there were rumors of an EDM-oriented festival hitting Chicago's Soldier Field this summer; now, with the official launch of the fest's lineup and ticketing site , we can confirm the event is happening. Set to take place on June 16th and 17th, the Spring Awakening Festival isn't exactly taking place this spring... but the roster of performers is so stellar we'll let it slide. Skrillex and Afrojack are headlining, with Laidback Luke , Wolfgang Gartner , Moby , Flux Pavilion , and many, many more set [...]
Well, we don't see any mentions of Daft Punk on this here press release we just received about the Spring Awakening Festival, Chicago's first all-untz affair set for the field outside of Soldier Field on June 16th and 17th, but the rumor we had up about Skrillex, Laidback Luke and Afrojack proved true. We had [...]

Just a few days after Lana Del Rey's "Video Games" received the Gameboy treatment , Daft Punk get further roboticized by Da Chip, a chiptune site that created 8-bit remixes of songs from the electro duo's three studio albums, as well as their Tron: Legacy soundtrack .
