If you've ever wanted to be in a crowd shot on continent-wide television here's your chance. On February 4th Toronto-based duo Dala will be joined by The Good Lovelies and Oh Susanna for an evening entitled Girls from the North Country. The three bands will be performing "songs inspired by the northern landscape" written by Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Gordon Lightfoot, Bob Dylan, and others.

Sweet sweet Canadian Dala Dala is the beautifully mesmerizing folk/pop of Canadian bff's Sheila Carabine and Amanda Walther. For reference sake, they're kind of a cross between Aimee Mann and a more upbeat Azure Ray - no small comparison.
