This track is absolutely awesome. I heard it on Indie 103.1 the other day, and the DJ actually spun it twice. It's super catchy, fun to listen to, and has a list of all the musical (and some social) no-no's. Enjoy it, play it over and over again, and memorize it. Respect! Dan Le Sac vs. Scroobius Pip - Thou Shalt Always Kill
You probably (or maybe not) read about this song on Pitchfork and it is undeniably brilliant. It's called Thou Shalt Always Kill by Dan Le Sac vs. Scroobious Pip . Pip is the Rapper. Le Sac, The DJ. Almost as classic as LCD's "Losing My Edge." Here's the video: Here's the song: Thou Shalt Always Kill - Dan Le Sac vs Scroobious Pip [...]

So I've been pounding the pavment pretty hard trying to find a new place to live. Everything has kind of taken a back seat-the only time I log onto email is to arrange to see places and to see if I've gotten a place and going out has kind of stopped. This Sunday I looked at the PERFECT place-near the train station so if gigs let out late I wouldn't have to take a cab. Coming back I ran into the protest march and decided to join and snap away. Stalking across myspace a [...]

I've always got the best intentions of doing posts galore during nightshifts, but somehow my enthusiasm just wilts. So during a spare moment at 3am I'll find myself not enthusing about amazing new records, but slumped in front of some ITV phone in quiz silently fuming at callers inability to guess "Racing" as the mystery word before "Car". "Hello Dannii... I'm not sure but.." (please for the love of god say racing) ... err is it Brown"? Brown! BROWWNNNN!!! ... anyway anger management aside here are some new releases I meant to post before grumpiness got in the [...]

Lots of random news with some good music thrown in between on this post. It seems that I can't keep on top of all of the exciting things that are happening with bands I like of late. - Another Form of Relief favourites The Young Republic have signed a recording contract with End of the Road Records, the label run by the curators of the End of the Road Festival . This is particularly exciting as it's a UK label, meaning [...]

Music Like Dirt was there first. Last May to be exact, when his first Scroobius Pip post appeared. Since then he's regularly written about the greatness of Essex's finest white rapper, seen him live and even done record reviewing with him and his partner in crime, electronic beatmeister Dan Le Sac . And most relevantly, he had a sneak preview in December of Thou Shalt Always Kill , their tune that seems set to become a minor sensation this year. John Kennedy and [...]

God Bless John Kennedy. Not content with a damn fine radio show , and one of the best live new music showcases around ( review ), he's now the first Radio DJ to give dan le sac VS Scroobius Pip some decent exposure... sorry X-posure. " Thou Shalt Always Kill " ( review ) melted the X-fm telephone exchange when played last week, so in response John wisely bestowed the title of "Hot One" on the track. A trailer load of txts/calls/emails later and its been upgraded to this weeks "Big One"! [...]
" Thou shalt not think any male over the age of 30 that plays with a child that is not their own is a paeodophile! .. some people are just nice ". Dan Le Sac Vs. Scroobius Pip - " Thou Shalt Always Kill " (MP3) (24 hours only) Yes I know... not more Scroobius bloody Pip... but bear with me on this one, its brief and its only here for 24 hours. Don't you just love watching a new act.. building [...]
