Over the last few months Bonnaroo organizers have been sharing videos of last year's SuperJam on their YouTube channel . Previously, we saw Questlove, D'Angelo, and a cast of beyond-talented players tackle Prince and The Revolution's " My Summertime Thang " at last year's Bonnaroo. The folks behind the festival have now shared more footage from the SuperJam. Last year's Bonnaroo SuperJam marked D'Angelo' s first U.S. performance in nearly 12 years, and Bonnaroo's YouTube channel has been slowly unveiling a four-part documentary chronicling the historic moment. Today, they've shared the second video in the series, which features behind-the-scenes rehearsal footage, in addition to D'Angeo and Questlove' s performance of "Pride And Vanity", which was written by American funk and R&B band Ohio Players in the 1970s. OK, this is awesome. At last year's Bonnaroo, Questlove hosted a SuperJam that featured, among other things, the first U.S. performance of D'Angelo in 12 (!) years. And in this new series hosted by Bonnaroo, Quest guides us through the makings of the SuperJam. The first episode is predominantly about his excitement to bring D'Angelo to the stage, which leads to some great footage of their cover of Prince's "My Summertime Thang".
