England's Paul White and Danny Brown add another song to their collaborative portfolio, Street Lights boasting big, thumping drums and the XXX rapper refraining from his squawkiest to paint a picture of dimly lit dead-end streets mixed with braggadocio. Expect an EP from Mr White by the name of Watch The Ants this summer, while this single will be available from 15 April.

Danny Brown and UK producer Paul White enjoy each other quite a bit (as evident in past collaborations on Brown's XXX and White's Rapping With Paul White ) and now have released a new song together called 'Street Lights'. The heavy, street gutter-style production sees the Detroit rapper going in hard and being more angry that were used to hearing from the eccentric spitter. This is off White's upcoming EP of the same name.
It took a while for me to understand Danny Brown . His missing tooth, characteristically unique voice, and strange choice in beats, all originally made me slightly nervous for Fool's Gold Records and its labelheads, Nick Catchdubs and A-Trak , when they first introduced the Detroit native as theirs. However, it only took me a little while to understand that they had, once again, struck 'gold' with their choice. Danny Brown was a genius . Well, okay, perhaps not exactly Einstein, but his rhymes were some of the most interesting lines [...]

Danny Brown released this one through twitter yesterday. He asked followers if they could get #kushcoma trending he'd release a song with that title. This'll be the lead single off his upcoming album Old. However, this is an alternate version, ASAP Rocky will be on the album version. skyxwalker really knocked it out of the park with this production; a real banger of a beat. On top of the the verbal assault, a tremendous hook ties it together, go 'head, go dumb.

A day after Danny Brown brought us the Skywlkr -produced " Kush Coma ," XXX producer Paul White revealed his recent collaboration with rapper on his upcoming "Street Lights" 12". Noticeably darker than the aforementioned "Kush Coma," Brown turns his serious voice on over lifting war drums and murder stories. For a guy that might come off as goofy as times, it's hard to forget his real Detroit upbringing. Check out "Street Lights" below and head over to White's Bandcamp to get a pre-order of the 12".
On "Street Lights", English producer Paul White has created a hazy, paranoid sonic playground for Danny Brown to occupy, and he does so with ridiculous ease. Just yesterday Brown showed off his handiwork with "Kush Coma," where he dominated a racing 100MPH beat from Skywalkr . It's safe to say Danny Brown is on a roll. Paul White and Danny Brown seem an unlikely pair: the enigmatic English producer with a penchant for psych- and prog-rock, and the eccentric Detroit rap star whose gleeful tales of sex- and drug-fuelled exploits have been met with massive acclaim. But three tracks together on Brown’s breakthrough XXX (Pitchfork Top 20 Albums of 2011) and one on Rapping With Paul White helped establish their producer-MC relationship as one of the finest in hip-hop today. The rapper cites him as “my fav producer to work with” and 'Street Lights' might be their best work together yet. In 'Street Lights', [...]

Doc Zeus hath risen. For a man who has the stoned Scumbag Steve countenance of a young Jason Mewes, Harry Fraud of the titular “La Musica De Harry Fraud,” has managed to become one of the most accomplished young producers in hip hop. In-demand and prolific, Fraud has become the breakout producers in a resurgent New York mixtape scene. His production work has supplied excellent richly layered productions for subterranean virtuosos like Action Bronson (“Bird On A Wire”) and Curren$y (“Cigarette Boats”), plus popular mainstream dickheads like Rick Ross (“The Zenith”) and Wiz [...]
UK based producer Paul White releases 'Street Lights' which has Danny Brown talking about the poverty in Detroit. Previously Paul White produced some tracks on XXX. But you'll be... [[ This is a content summary only. Visit my website for full links, other content, and more! ]]
Danny Brown drops a new, Skywlkr-produced track titled "Kush Coma," and it features some bright synths, trap rhythms, and some pretty strange chorus vocals. It's a pretty nutty beat, but Danny says pretty cutthroat and straightforward with a speedy flow that spits lyrics about his inebriated surreality. I hope that's a word...

UK producer Paul White and Danny Brown have teamed up once again for collaborative track, "Street Lights". It's a stressful military march, which finds Brown once again mouthing off about the troubles in the Motor City, dropping a "healthy mix of old-fashioned bragging and flashes of nostalgia", as a press release notes. A limited 123 vinyl of the track is currently available for pre-orders via Bandcamp . You can also stream it below. White previously produced Brown's rather excellent 2011 sophomore album, XXX , and they'll continue that relationship for select tracks [...]

If you caught the Bruiser Brigade feature on Pitchfork's Selector serie s, chances are you were especially taken on the beyond-charismatic rhymes of youngster Zelooperz . He was on our radar before , but we get the feeling his presence will grow immensely given his affiliations. For one, he provides the hook on that ill new Danny Brown track, " Kush Coma ", and Brown's hosting the kid's new wild-as-f*ck joint, "Hit A Lick". Seriously, good luck finding something new as nuts/intriguing as this today.
Danny Brown's new album Old is set to be released in August under A-Trak's Fools Gold label. Kush Coma is the first leak from Old, fry it. [[ This is a content summary only. Visit my website for full links, other content, and more! ]]

With the release of Old rapidly approaching, Danny Brown has upped-the-ante in guest appearances over the last few weeks. His latest track is a collaboration with the UK-based producer Paul White, who contributed three beats to Brown's excellent XXX. Although Brown has toned down his rapping recently, 'Street Lights' finds the MC breaking out a flow that would not be out of place on his last album. The Paul White beat displays dizzy drums that could easily pose a challenge to a less accomplished barsmith, but Danny Brown excels over it. He raps [...]
Here's a thing Danny Brown loves doing: Jumping on a track from a British producer and just absolutely ripping it to shreds. His latest target is "Street Lights," a song from the beatmaker Paul White, who's already made a bunch of songs with Brown, including three that appeared on Brown's own XXX . "Street Lights" is a cluttered, claustrophobic psych-rap track, and it features Brown dialing down his cartoon-hyena delivery, getting cold and businesslike with it. Listen below. Read More... [...]

"Street Lights" is a new collaboration between Danny Brown and Paul White, the English producer who produced for Brown on XXX and has teamed up with the Fool's Gold rapper again for this single to be released on April 15. It's hectic, stressful production, so it makes sense to lace it with Danny's nimble and high intensity flows, and given Danny's history with the streets of Detroit, he has no problem coming up with something to say on "Street Lights."
