Artist: Danzig

According to Blabbermouth.net , Glenn Danzig is currently in the studio working on his soon to be released covers album . The former Misfits singer has already recorded five songs. Among the rumored artists that Danzig is set to cover are Black Sabbath and Elvis. Danzig's latest album Deth Red Saboath was released this past June on The End Records. The album debuted at number 35 on the Billboard 200 selling 11,700 copies.

I've never been able to "get" Born of Osiris. They're technically proficient enough (these days who isn't) but they just never really stood out to me when stacked up against their peers. They're not as proggy as The Faceless, don't have the songs of After the Burial, aren't as good players as Animals as Leaders, [...]

I know this isn't DANZIG WATCH 2010 or anything, but news about the Lord of the Dance Lord of Darkness is still important - especially when it pertains to awesome bands covering his songs. Danzig was scheduled to play a show Nov. 9 at Minneapolis' Cabooze, when he apparently decided that he venue's 15-foot-tall ceiling wasn't high enough. At that point, it seems Danzig shut down the show before doors even opened. While the Twin Cities' City Pages couldn't get in touch with Danzig to get his side of the story, they did hear from Michelle Metz at the Cabooze.
