Promotional photos of bands jumping in the air annoy the hell out of me. Sure The Beatles did it, but that was nearly FIFTY YEARS AGO. If your band is at a photo-shoot and the photographer says, "Hey! You know what would be fun? You guys jump in the air and I'll take your picture!" Go find yourself another photographer. If one of your bandmates suggests the idea, kick the person out of your band... or at least put them in time-out for an hour or so.
