Do they guys still go by Boyz II Men or would they go by something else since they're men now? Happy Labor Day! South Central - [...]

I still haven't made it out this festival but tons of indie rockers cut their teeth in NYC around this time of year and around the CMJ events. Plus it's a solid way for tons of folks in the industry to get together and finally meet each other face to face as opposed to electronic correspondence only. Maybe I'll make [...]

We resume our reposts of the Blogophilia series this week with volumes 8 and 8.5. Why 8 and 8.5? Well, I mixed these at the same time, and the tracks came from the same collection of songs I reviewed. Calling one 8 and the other 9 didn't feel right. We've also had a 12.5, and recently a 26.5 for the same reason. Like volume 7, these two mixes really capture the summer spirit. Volume 8.5 has a throw in from an "oldie but goodie." Enjoy... Blogophilia Volume 8 [...]

This band has been a welcomed hand-warmer in the middle of my f-f-freezing c-c-cold San Francisco "summer". To honor a country as politically progressive, open-minded and filled with beautiful men as Norway, I give you one of their elite electro-pop bands, Datarock , along with a few ofmy favorite songs. I am sure they will bring some heat to your feet. "Fa Fa Fa" Click here to view the embedded video. Download "Fa Fa Fa" [...]
