Last year, the Dave Matthews Band announced it would take 2011 off from touring. Then, the group changed course and said they would throw their own multi-band festivals that they'd headline. All in all, there were five DMB Caravan events this summer - one in Atlantic City, one in Chicago, one at The Gorge, an ill-fated one-day affair at Governor's Island and this month's full three-day shebang on Randall's Island.
