T Carl Ives has been gracing our local stages here in Eau Claire for the better part of the last decade. Last Saturday, he took the stage for the last time as the lead singer of Meridene (it was incredible!) but Trevor has new projects upcoming and is by no means disappearing from our local music scene. City and Colour have announced a handful of dates starting in March in support of 2011's Little Hell . Pedro the Lion 's David Bazan will be supporting on all dates. Pre sale tickets go on sale February 8 and include the option of purchasing an autographed 18 x 24 metallic screen printed City and Colour poster. San Francisco genre-bending trio Deerhoof has released the latest installment in its ongoing split 73 series, which already includes joint efforts with Jeff Tweedy, Xiu Xiu, and Busdriver. It's a collaboration with Pedro the Lion's David Bazan , aptly entitled DeerBazan, and Side A features "No One Asked Bazan To Dance", in which Bazan sings his own lyrics over an instrumental version of Deerhoof Vs. Together, they make up the 2012 edition of Heavy and Light, TWLOHA's annual benefit concert.
