Footage previously thought to have been lost of David Bowie performing "The Jean Genie" on BBC's Top Of The Pops has surfaced. This performance was first aired (and only aired once) on January 4th in 1973, and was thought to have been recorded over (as it was common practice because of the high cost of recording new episodes) when it had actually been kept by a cameramen.
