After last year's Love This Giant LP, the pleasantly surprising collaborative project between David Byrne and St. Vincent shows no signs of slowing down. The dynamic duo have now released their new Brass Tactics EP, which features remixes and live versions of their songs. The EP also includes "Cissus," a track of slow, melancholy noise that didn't make the cut on Love This Giant.
You may have read last week that David Byrne and St. Vincent have followed up their excellent Love This Giant album from last year with a new EP entitled Brass Tactics . This weekend Detroit's Movement Festival hosted an exhibit called "Go Bang - a celebration of Arthur Russell," the iconic '70s singer-songwriter and cello player who collaborated with the likes of Allen Ginsberg, the Talking Heads and more.
