Pink Floyd founding member Richard "Rick" Wright passed away yesterday "after a short struggle with cancer," according to a statement posted on David Gilmour's website. He was 65. Singer/Guitarist David Gilmour of Pink Floyd has announced the scheduled release of a live album and concert DVD from his 2006 performance in Gdansk, Poland . The live multi-disc album will feature over 22 tracks from his Gdansk show, with the Polish Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra , as well as bonus tracks from the ' On An Island ' Tour.
