Brian Eno getting "creative" with Echo and the Bunnymen, a Cocteau Twins groupie falling down a k-hole, or the lost soundtrack to Lost Boys: LA duo Dazzle Ships sound like all of these things. I don't think I want to talk to you if any of those things perk your interest. [The editor no longer talks to the author of this piece. -Ed.] I'm not really sure if "nu-goth" is even a genre. If it is, it's a terrible idea. But at least it yielded this gem of a 7-inch out on Family ...
