I've always been a Slum Village fan whether it's T3, Baatin & Dilla or Elzhi & T3 or whatever version of the lineup. I thought Villa Manifesto was the group we know as Slum Village's final LP, but apparently the group will continue as just T3 (and Young RJ?). Mick Boogie is presenting their upcoming mixtape Dirty Slums . For "Turning Me Off," T3 is joined by elder statesmen De La Soul and it sounds alright: Listen: [...]

Mick Boogie is back at it, this time serving up a new project in conjunction with Slum Village. To set the mood, Slum teamed up with Dave and Posdnuos of De La Soul to slang raps over a boom-bap production from Young RJ. The collaboration is impressive, and it certainly has us excited for the upcoming Dirty Slums tape, which is set to drop March 27.

Slum Village has a new mixtape on the way. Dirty Slums presented by Mick Boogie will feature appearances from De La Soul (obviously), Big Sean, Skyzoo, Phife and others. "Turning Me Off" is the lead single, which you can check out below. Release date is slated for March 27th. Very slick, laid back feel to this cut. Favorite lyric? It's no surprise that this remix is 10x better than the original; with Posdnuos of De La Soul and Wu Tang's Raekwon, Mac couldn't go wrong. Does Mac get outshone? Yes. Does it matter? No. This track is excellent. Macadelic coming very, very soon. Download: Mac Miller - Of The Soul (Ft. Posdnuos & Raekwon) [Remix]
