Previously interviewed here at A Future in Noise in October, 2009 , Calvin Markus (from Dead Times ) has kindly granted us the opportunity for another Q&A session! Their latest release I Love Myself and I Want to Live , currently available as an AFIN exclusive , is discussed within as well as Markus' solo soundtrack album on Vulpiano Records Three Days of Sound ...: --- A Future in Noise: How have you and Dead Times changed since our last interview (music-wise and/or [...]

I'm going to the Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival tomorrow, hence the Haiku Review today. So no Show Worthy post Sunday. Sorry.

I first featured Dead Times here when I reviewed their brilliant 2009 album Midnight Glass ( free download at Last.fm ; "Mirrors in Reverse" is particularly epic) earlier this year. Their most recent endeavors include a split cassette release, Nature Nosebleed , with Graves House (now known as Timeload Fowl ) and participation in Voidism, Volume 1 , with the track "Wet Static" and art from member Calvin Markus. Voidism, Vol. 1. is an art compilation with an accompanying soundtrack; see also the teaser video below [...]
