I'm using this style in a design project I've just started. It will probably turn out horrible — but really, how could you tell?

It starts out unassuming enough. With a few bars of guitars, Dear and the Headlights new single "Talk About" (from their upcoming September 30th CD "Drunk Like Bible Times") launches itself into a standard sounding indie jangle. But as you start listening to the song, which involves one person "processing" a disagreement with another, the song picks up and becomes manic in its pace, with dips and crescendoes mirroring the frequencies of the dispute at hand. Coupled with singer Ian Metzger's fork-tongued lyrics and shrill vocals, alongside some really just peppy music, this song just becomes golden. [...]

So it amazes me that these guys are not more well-known. Excellent lyrics, some nice guitar riffs, and good drumming; what more could you ask for? This is a rhetorical question, of course, but if you think of a good answer let me know. Anyway, the point is somehow the masses have yet to catch on.
