Palms , the group featuring Chino Moreno of The Deftones and Jeff Caxide, Aaron Harris and Bryant Clifford Meyer of Isis , have released the track listing and some more details about their upcoming debut. "Swerve City" is yet another great album opener from Deftones . I'd say it's one of my favorite tracks off Koi , which I really need to give more listens. The official video was released last week. Chino keeps busy between filming videos for these tracks and pumping out the Crosses and Palms new music. Respect the Mexican work ethic. Real recognize real. DEFTONES - SWERVE CITY

Deftones 2008 album Eros was recorded with Chi as the last thing he'd ever done and was supposed to be shelved until he got better. Now it might just see the light of day! Deftones ' latest record Koi No Yokan grabbed you by the neck right from the very start with it's huge sound. The album opening track that did just that, "Swerve City", has now been given the official video treatment with a western style clip. The beautifully shot clip even features a cameo from the band's own Chino Moreno right at the end so stay tuned. The band will play extensive dates over the rest of 2013, all of which can be found over here .

The beautiful, new Western-inspired video for Koi No Yokan opener "Swerve City" juxtaposes the Deftones' intense, roaring rock sounds with the desolate, yet stunning expansiveness of the barren desert.
