MUSIC NEWS - The Sacramento Bee newspaper reports that Chi Cheung , 38, bassist for the Deftones was involved in a serious car crash and is now in a San Jose, CA hospital, in serious, but stable condition. The band's singer, Chino Moreno , says Chi Cheng was injured in the crash Monday in Santa Clara. Reports are that it's "very serious." Out of nowhere the Deftones announced a surprise show at Spaceland tonight. The show was announced yesterday via the band's blog and tickets went on sale and sold out this morning.
