Delsin certainly has come along way from its humble beginnings 15 years ago. The Dutch label started with 50 cassette copies of owner Marsel van der Wielen's own Peel Seamus productions and continued to slowly build an identity that grew from deep electronica, broken beat and electro to what it's best known for now - post-Detroit techno charting the fringes of the galaxy. De vreemde freaky geluiden die daarop stonden vormden de eerste kennismaking met Detroit techno voor Boris Bunnik. Zijn neef uit de grote stad voorzag de Terschellinger in zijn behoefte aan meer van dit soort muziek. Niels Luinenburg is 25 jaar komt uit Leeuwarden en maakt onder vier namen techno. Zijn geboortenaam gebruikt hij voor zogenaamde ouderwetse technoproducties. Samen met Damian Keane en Dave Miller vormt hij Phantom Regiment en Exo Base is Niels samen met Samuel van Dijk. Solo heeft hij nog het alter ego Delta Funktionen voor de meer dubby en diepe geluiden. Onder deze naam is hij vooralsnog ook het bekendst.
