It seems like NYC's Deluka is on the up and up. People keep me asking me about them. I mean, how can you know like them, their dance-rock sound is infectious and the lead singer is gorgeous as well. Anyway, MTV sent us over a performance they did for their show MTV Iggy . They are performing their hit track, "Cascade," and the cool thing, it was filmed on a Flip camera. I'll be honest, I don't know much about Deluka , a shiny faced Birmingham quartet, but I do know that NME declared them "Girl-charged electro-skuzz punk, akin to Ladytron snacking on The Killers for brunch". Sounded pretty good to me, and from what I understand they're well on course to take the US by storm with backing from MTV.
