On Jan 16, 2010 Memory Tapes played their first ever live show. The show took place in Manchester and lucky for us youtube user Blikeng86 show a really great looking video. The yellow glasses wearing asshat singing over Dayve is obnoxious but this is a great video. I'm particularly impressed with how organic the song comes off --organic is not what I would call the record. I caught an episode of "Jersey Shore" this week, and as a result I feel dumber for watching fifteen-minutes of a watered down "Real World". So I went home to Atlanta for Thanksgiving break. It's always refreshing to see mass amounts of black people and to hear southern Atlanta accents. Not to mention get away from cold depressing Upstate NY. While I was at home I heard a few songs on the radio and although I'm against people naming themselves "Lil -blank-" or "Dem -blank- Boyz" I like both of these songs and feel like everybody needs a lil foolishness in their lives.
