As if we needed anymore unhinged pop brilliance in our lives, d’Eon has appeared recently in anticipation of his upcoming album, titled ‘LP’. He obviously spends all of his creative energies creating music. His eccentric, druggy jams are just about brilliant enough to warrant a description as a male parallel of Grimes, a comparison which is even more intriguing considering they released a split LP last year, and both hail from Montreal. I admit, I never really gave d'Eon 's half of the Darkbloom split 123 with Grimes much more than a cursory listen, but the latest track off his forthcoming LP is something to sit up and take notice of. "Transparency Pt. II," a sort of follow-up to Darkbloom 's "Transparency," feels almost unclassifiable, falling somewhere around what you'd expect to hear if Peter Gabriel put out an R&B tape. Everything HTRK release is golden. Every mix either on their site , or released elsewhere , is golden too. These are two tracks I fell in love with recently after listening through.
