After making nary a peep all Oscar season, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close (whose title I still can't seem to get right) snags a Best Picture Oscar nomination. Being a teenager certainly isn't what it used to be. Neither in real life nor in reel life. Legendary and recently united punk rock act Descendents have announced their first show in 2012, with support coming from Hot Water Music and Endless Monster (featuring Descendents own Karl Alvarez). The show will take place place at the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver, CO on January 28 2012. Tickets on sale now here Descendents are currently scheduled to play the GV 30 music festival taking place December 16-18 in Los Angeles, CA with Bad Religion, Social Distortion, and others.
