Auf Dirk ist Verlaß. Der hielt mir nämlich neulich eine wundbar designte Vinylplatte unter die Nase und meinte, die sähen nicht nur gut aus, die klängen auch nach ganz nach unserem Geschmack. Hat er mal wieder Recht gehabt. "Destroyalldreamers started in the summer of 2002 in Montreal, when Shaun Doré (drums) and Eric Quach (guitar) got together to jam on a weekly basis as a duo. Back then, the idea of playing in a band was a long-lost and impossible dream, as Shaun has buried his drum kit a few years ago and Eric was just starting to get acquainted with effect pedals. There’s nothing like a good festival. A good noisy festival with a bunch of noise, dreampop, and shoegaze bands getting together to benefit breast cancer. The Wall of Sound Fest in Fredericksburg, VA looks to be a good one. Some favorites of mine include Stellarscope, Destroyalldreamers, A Place To Bury Strangers, and Alcian Blue.
