Dev and Timbaland There's still no solid release information on Timbaland 's hotly-anticipated Shock Value III album, but the set is still producing singles. Tim's hometown station Z104 in VA premiered a new track by the super-producer, titled "Break Ya Back," featuring pop star Dev . The title is so fitting. Timbo lets out another Shock Value III track.

After several delays , Dev's debut LP The Night The Sun Came Up is finally slotted for a US release on March 27. On it will be the Timbaland pair-up "Don't Hurt It", but ahead of that, another collaboration between the two premiered on Virginia's Z104 today — plodding, murky mid-tempo jam "Break Ya Back". The song, which possesses a vague hint of Middle Eastern influence, finds Timbaland asking, "Baby, where's your husband / I got your thighs rubbin'," while mtvU Woodie Awards performer Dev spits a few rhymes about being "from Cali" [...]

Dev hit up the mtvU Woodies Awards Festival yesterday at SXSW to perform two tracks from her debut album The Night The Sun Came Up (out March 26). Not only did the electro-pop artist sound great live with only a DJ backing her up on stage, but she looked extremely hot for a woman that had a baby only a few months ago. Dev is putting in a massive effort to promote her oft-delayed, retweaked debut album The Night The Sun Came Up , due March 26. The electro-pop singer has released her third video in as many months, this time for the Fabolous-assisted "Kiss My Lips," which is more of a demand than a suggestion. Though Dev has been on tour with a fair amount of opening dates as of late, it's time for the Universal-signed artist to take the reigns and headline (likely thanks to the release of her debut album in late March).
