AiMT is nearly five years old now, and I've had a blast with it. But the big problem with it has been that I just don't make time to post regularly. I've put so much of my musical energies into DJing over the past few years that posting individual tracks feels a bit forced and unnecessary. With the launch of the ANTS mixshow podcast, I'm giving myself a new outlet to share music more regularly and naturally in a format that works best for me in the present. You can expect new podcasts bi-monthly. [...]
The first ten minutes of Walton's FADER mix pass by in a state of relative (UK) funky calm. It's deftly blended bass work, but the early tones are somewhere near pleasant, nothing hugely jolting. Then ... read more
![Preeya Kalidas – ‘It’s A Problem’ (Feat. Scorcher) [Official Video]](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/3679825_lg.jpg)
I was going to post this track a few days back when I had the YouTube stream available, however the video reached us sooner than I expected. It was a sad day when Preeya Kalidas left EastEnders, she was always one of my favourite females in the show. It was a much sadder day when she entered the music industry though. I say this in the nicest way possible but she isn't blessed with the most amazing vocal ability. Her good looks will always get her on this blog though. Dexplicit gave her [...]

One of the first generation subgenres of UK garage (alongside Grime and Dubstep), Bassline House developed around sheffield's niche club, it is probably the most reminiscent of speed garage, but eschewing any of the grit and macho aesthetics of its contemporaries, instead keeping with a 4x4 derived highly produced ULTRAPop-py sound, with multiple melodic interweaving dubstep style basses and/or organ basses, mostly a midlands thing, popular with the local pakistani clubgoers is the word. Bassline really can't be taken too seriously, but i dont think youre supposed to, unabashedly fun though hope you enjoy these ones -Jumpman [...]

There's no question that Lethal Bizzle's 'Pow' aka. 'Forward Riddim', produced by D'Explicit, is one of the best grime tracks ever made but isn't it also a bit hilarious that Bizzle has to update it for 2011 to gain some hype? Talk about living off old merits? However, I'm not gonna complain, I take tunes like 'Pow' over the new grime any day and 'Pow 2011' just premiered on Tim Westwood's show on BBC's 1Xtra and features Chipmunk, Wiley, Kano, JME, Ghetts, P Money and 2Face: 'Pow 2011' will be [...]
Its been a relatively slow week around the blogosphere, but there's been some big releases the last couple weeks from L-Vis 1990, Machinedrum, Major Lazer, Count & Sinden, James Pants, Sharkslayer and a couple of the bass champions of the ... Continue reading
Fresh for 2010 Skillioso ( myspace ), the man behind Lethal Bizzle's 'The Best' and the classic instrumental 'Ringmaster' featured on the 2006 'Yard Food' EP, comes with his debut solo release on Dexplicit's DXP Recordings. This is the first of three 'Fresh Fruit' volumes featuring a choice selection of mutant Grime/Funky. Check the full release here . Big up the folks over at Scenexscience for getting Grime and Bassline legend Dexplicit to put together a mini mix for them. From producing classics such as Forwards Riddim to one of my personal favs of all time Bullacake Dex has always stood out in an overcrowded room of overrated producers and shown exactly why he is still here now banging out tracks. Recently even doing a remix for the much hyped Drop The Lime track Set Me Free . Well worth a download and i mean why not? Its free!?

so its monday again. oh poopie. my advice. dont kill yourself. but def get out there and break a leg. oh as for the video, its from Gigolo And Gigolette - the fascinating story of a high diver (played by Glynis Johns). pretty rad no? finally, unrelated to killing urself or bad mondays, these songs! enjoy mp3: Gucci Vump - Sha! The EP showcases Sticky ’s undeniable “ Jumeirah Riddim ” which represents his recent embrace of UK Funky and has been an underground hit in the UK for some months. Once we signed the track, we called up rising Jamaican star Natalie Storm for a voicing and she delivered a catchy bashment/funky monster, “ Look Pon Me ” (stay tuned for the video dropping early next week). JA vocals in hand we went back to the UK and got bassline mastermind Dexplicit to rework the track into an uptempo, heavy bass a preview of the [...]
I couldn't be happier to bring you the next ScenexScience mixtape from the man Dexplicit ( myspace ). Hands down one of my favourite producers Dex has never failed to amaze me with his unique slant on Grime, Bassline and Dubstep - from his instrumentals to the next level 'Judas' and, of course, his remixes for Trouble & Bass. Let's not forget 'Forward Riddim'. His debut album 'Digital Kinesis' is out now, check it here and support. Bristol heads make sure you reach Hype Society next Thursday (November 26) for some proper midweek bass courtesy the man himself, Mosca [...]
Trouble & Bass recording artist/former editor of XLR8R magazine and stellar deep rave purveyor Star Eyes just released the official video for her single "Disappear", a shadowed, billowy track that's as matched by the clip's visuals as we could nearly...

If you're suffering from the sunday blues then check out some of these wicked tunes to put a kick in your step. If you're not suffering then check em out anyway cos they're sick! This Dub & Run remix offers a sweet slice of dubstep goodness. M.I.A - Boyz (Dub & Run Remix) Continuing on a vocal tip, Audiostalkers come with a killer bit of fidget. This tune makes me laugh but it's still rude. Snoop - Drop [...]

It's time, again, for me to post a number of miscellaneous tunes that have slipped through the pelski net over the last month or two. We've got growling electro, big house beats, some thumping brea kbeat, one bassline remix, a couple of minimal flavours and even a small slice of reggae-infused pop, just in time for the summer. Pelski highly recommends them all: The band currently holding the most outlandish name is London's Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs. Their tunes are as quirky as their name. I posted their Foreign Beggers [...]

Over an hours worth of funked up filthy bass heavy Electronic beats ranging from DJ Nasty to Drop the Lime and Rustie to Dexplicit with a few of his own freakishly phat productions thrown into the 47 track deep mix for good measure. Been hitting the snooze button for the last 2 hours now, thought it was bout time I pulled myself out of bed and got on with something. Got an assignment in for Monday which is worth 100% of one of my modules which I'm yet to properly start and seeing as I'm going out tonight and Saturday I can imagine Sunday is going to be looong... Anyways after a late night safari through the depths of the cyber jungle last night I came across a sick new remix [...]
