Lilith releases Le Chat Noir next month on the ever-reliable Diametral Network. The original mix is another of those warm dub techno tunes, with shades of deep house in which Diamtral seem to specialise. The synths are warm and comforting and the dubbiness has a crystaline quality. Lovely combination. There are mixes by Hakan Lido, Signal Deluxe and M Spriner. Matthias Springer (Diametral Records owner) did the first release on his label a couple of months ago. It's not an EP that announces the label with a big bang. It's more laid back than that. Whilst searching around the Diametral releases I found this free EP which I thought you might like. Not techno this time but downtempo dnb. Static Chaser is funky dnb but doesn't quite know where it's going. Solaris II is more ambient dnb, with a very spacey feel. Best track here.
