Our Queens of Hearts has descended from on high to inspire us all this chilly fall morning to cast Her warm regal glow upon us all, any Monday is better in Her presence. 'Warrior' is Her latest masterpiece, and shows us the tenderness that lies just underneath the strength of Her electronic armor. The Diamond Cut produced track begins with delicate piano notes that echo into a vastness that evaporates as enchanting percussion draw us close. The video is a mesmerizing balance of hard edge and delicate softness; a flawless regal presence. [...]

Queen Of Hearts is back with a brand new single, and that usually means we’ll be having a good weekend, and if we don’t at least we’ll have something to play on repeat. One again teaming up with Australian über producer Diamond Cut , the new track, Warrior, is quite a departure for both of them, DC especially, but it’s an experimentation that really works and makes for a nice hit of majesty in Queen Of hearts catalogue. So, on Warrior, Diamond Cut brings the tribal and Queen Of hearts brings the drama. the [...]

Visitor ’s long-awaited Coming Home // RNB EP is finally being released today. If the title tracks aren't enough to get you excited, the band put up a stream of FM Attack ’s “Coming Home” remix, which also appears on the release. FM Attack (né Shawn Ward) is a talented Canadian producer whose music has been described as “uplifting nostalgic modern dreamwave.” Ward's take draws out the 80s-inspired synthpop hidden within the original and makes fantastic use of the vocoder. Stream it below and see for yourself. Visitor's [...]

125 beats per minute dictates this latest Madeon structure that has been made via the hands of France’s current prince of power-electro-house-pop - and his present winkings of the eye towards the former Swedish House Mafia collective. Commanding a lot of youthful sing-a-longs and lovie-dovie glowstick raising throughout this latest release of his; irresistibly yours.. this is ‘The City’ by Madeon. Released on the 8 October 2012 worldwide featuring vocals from Zak Waters and Cass Lowe. Out now for United States iTunes subscribers. Cautiously remnant of a fictional, electro-type wedding spliced symphony, Viceroy turns his hand to Visitor’s Original amid likewise [...]

UK-based electro-pop maestros Visitor , who made a splash back in 2010 with their club-friendly track “Los Feeling,” are on the verge of releasing their long overdue debut album. Before that happens, though, they'll be releasing the Coming Home EP, which includes a new track "RNB" as well as the EP's eponymous ballad. Popjustice calls Visitor “a sort of pop-hungry, high drama missing link between The Killers and The Pet Shop Boys,” an apt description considering the band builds its songs around warm, richly layered synths, soaring heartfelt [...]

Remember Visitor ? It's been a long, long time since we've last heard from these guys, and now London-based electro-pop duo Visitor return with the epic track "RNB", the first taste from their upcoming EP "Coming Home / RNB", which was produced by Diamond Cut. The EP also features remixes by the likes of Lifelike, Viceroy, FM Attack, Bestrack, Symbolone, Vanguard, and more. Also, you can watch the promo video for the EP below. Out on September 10th.

WIB CATCHING WRECK!!! The New York Resident, "Jewels" is confronting the whole hip hop masses, with this newly released project, "The Easy Way Out".. As far as having the word easy in the title... This is a hard album and it's free... "Jewels" is one of a kind, type of lyrical sense and spit, homie can attack on any a production and kill it with ease.. If you like what your listening too as of now, he has self titled project before this as it eases you into who is the Mc behind the mic.. It's all quality and [...]
El sello portugués Discotexas nos sirve en bandeja su primer lanzamiento de este 2012, y este corre a cargo del dúo de Helsinki formado por Jay Lamar y Jesse Oliver. [....]

Australian artist Catherine Kelleher, better known to you and me as Catcall , has recently been making waves throughout the blogosphere with her 80s inspired electro pop. Just like fellow 2011 electro pop female stars Florrie and Queen of Hearts , she has enlisted today finest for production duties. Her two tracks "Satellites"(produced by Diamond Cut ) and "Swimming Pool" have been floating around the web as of late and I just couldn't resist. My favourite "Satellites", a homage to 80s pop, is reminiscent to fellow Australian artists Ladyhawke and Empire [...]

Here's the official video for Sydney’s electro-pop artist Catcall new catchy pop tune "Satellites". The track was produced by Diamond Cut and it's the first single from her forthcoming debut album "The Warmest Place", which drops in early 2012 on Ivy League. Directed by SPOD. Satellites by CATCALL

In the world of electronic music, there are shooting stars (see: Madeon, Avicii, etc.) and there are stars tucked away, coasting through the Milky Way galaxy. Without these stars, the sky and the electronic musical landscape would be a much darker place. Fear of Tigers is this kind of karmic star that keeps the galaxy aligned. Fear of Tigers (aka Benjamin Berry), transcends genres and has become somewhat of a mystery, enigma and anomaly in the electronic music realm/bloggosphere since his debut album, Cossus Snufsigalonica , was released in December of 2009 as a free download. This release helped [...]

Okay, who is managing Queen of Hearts and why does she have two video teasers out and no actual video? Shenanigans, I say. Shenanigans. The worst is that her songs are quite awesome and visuals look quite epic. I don't want a teaser! I want the whole burrito (mmmm... burritos). Watch: Queen Of Hearts - Where Are You Now? (Music Video Teaser) You can't even buy the original "Where Are You Now?" yet. I wonder if the hold up has to do with a [...]
![Queen Of Hearts – Freestyle [Diamond Cut Radio Edit] // Song Of The Day #220](http://cdn.elbo.ws/posts/3301161_lg.jpg)
A bit of mystery, Great Aunt Tilly was wont to instruct us before lucidity bid her adieu, will never go amiss. Dearly departed advisor may have been decreeing the Dos and Dont's of dating, but the same adage can be applied to the first flight of a fledgling popstrel - as the enigmatic creature known as Queen Of Hearts attests. Of course, there's no use in mystery if all you've got behind your masquerade is slack-jawed gormlessness, but this Queen, you'll be glad to know, conceals both charm and beauty [...]
Photo by Theo Gosselin I'll admit it, I'm extremely biased when it comes down to the music made by Milwaukee-based Maritime. Two of the members used to be in The Promise Ring, a seminal post-punk (emo!) band that easily ranks high as one of my all-time favorites. Still, I think it's safe to say the members have matured in their sound into something more of an all-around crowd pleaser. Apart from

OK, this is something pretty special. Well, it’s a Diamond Cut reMix so it’s bound to be! It’s a reMix of Cullen ’s new single, ‘Crazy Enough’. We’ve featured Cullen before, he’s a kinda’ BedroomPop act from Down Under who has dropped some nice tunes in the past. Fellow Aussies Diamond Cut work their magic on his new single and what emerges is a huge, sweeping, 80’s sounding, DiscoPop track. Subtle guitar licks echo hauntingly in the background while Cullen’s impassioned vocals and DC’s soaring synth lines power the track on and on. [...]

Here is the newest single from the Melbourne-based Cullen . You all might remember him from his first single Easily Impressed , which came out in June 2010. If you don't that's okay because you can very quickly and easily find it here . Like that last single, Crazy Enough also comes with a handful of great remixes to enjoy. Although the single hasn't been named with what album it's hitting, you can still pay close attention to future releases via his website . For more news see the press pack bio below! [...]
